Summer is upon us and hot weather is certainly here.  And as you know I live in a swamp town, so not only is it hot, it is ridiculously humid.  So when I partnered with Walmart to bring you a plus size summer casual outfit, I wanted to include something to keep cool in, like this olive green sleeveless shirt, which is 100% cotton.

Cotton is a breathable natural fiber, making it a great choice for summer and for those who are “thermally challenged.”  (That’s a term I learned from you guys.  LOL).  I am definitely “thermally challenged.”

Plus, I think this top would also work for Zoom meetings for those who are working from home at this time.  Just top with a lightweight cardigan if you want some arm coverage.

More Outfit Details

I paired the green top with two options: distressed cropped kick flare jeans and denim Bermuda shorts.  So no matter how much leg coverage you want, this outfit should work for you.

My two favorite pieces from this look are the jute tote bag and the embellished sandals.  Unique pieces like these can really “level up” an outfit.

In case you hadn’t noticed, Walmart is bringing it with their fashion game!  And as I’ve said, Walmart offers a great selection of plus sizes.

Additionally, I recommend checking out some of their size-inclusive brands, such as Scoop, which offers most pieces in sizes XS – XXXL (0 – 22) and Time and Tru, which offers some pieces up to a size XXXL (22/24).  Also, Sofia Jeans, which offers more than just cute denim, with sizes up to an XXXL or 22.
