Plus Size Blue Gingham Top

Plus Size Blue Gingham Top Summer Outfit with White Cropped Jeans, Tory Burch Sandals, and Straw Tote - Alexa Webb #plussize #alexawebbSometimes you just wanna look cute, amirite?  And this plus size blue gingham top is just what you need for that girl-next-door cutie-pie summer vibe!

Aside from it’s adorable pale blue and yellow gingham print, the top is a flattering babydoll cut with a high-low hem.  And it’s long enough to comfortably wear with white jeggings, my favorites, or white denim Bermudas.  Yes, bum coverage!

For the outfit, I added a pair of blush pink tassel earrings and a straw crossbody tote with light pink leather accents.  Oh, the cuteness!

And I added an obvious choice, the Tory Burch Miller sandals in “Makeup.”  If you have wide feet or don’t want to spend an unreasonable amount on sandals, these Sam Edelman sandals are a great alternative in “Almond.”

  1. I really love the work you do! I get so many ideas for area arena of my life. My only concern is the makeup. Usually it seems that the lipstick colors are not inclusive. Could you offer multiple lip color choices for your minority followers? Thank you!!

    1. Hi Robin,
I think that most of the lip colors work on a variety of skin tones, it’s really more about undertone than anything, in my opinion. For example, here is this post’s lipstick shown on 3 skin tones. I think it looks great on all of these women! It totally has the same vibe on each of them, I think. Do you think I need to offer an alternative for those with deeper skin tones in this case? If so, what might that be? I’d love to hear some suggestions! Thanks!

      1. For example, my undertone and skin tone does not allow me to wear many pinks or nudes or even bright reds. However, berries or plums look better on me in my opinion. So when I look at your outfits, I wonder if the shades that I normally wear will look good with the outfit. Just a wonder. It might not be a major issue. Thank you for your help!
