An easy “formula” for work outfits: a black pencil skirt, a printed top, and a coordinated shoe or cardigan for some colorful interest. In this plus size summer work outfit, I included both a coordinating sandal and cardigan, but you could always add just one in a color and keep the other neutral. For example, a black shoe and rose cardigan or a black cardigan and rose shoe. It just depends on what you have in your closet. And lastly, if you have a more professional dress code, top with a black jacket instead of a cardigan.
