Today I’m giving you a plus size “micro capsule.” 

This collection offers seven outfit ideas for summer and even looks for fall and spring!

This first few looks feature black linen shorts.  Of course, linen pants would work too.

Wearing Linen

Stay chic yet comfortable with linen.

The featured plus size black shorts are 100% linen. 

Linen is a natural fiber known for keeping you cool in hot weather. 

That’s because linen breathes and absorbs moisture.

Linen might seem difficult to deal with, but it’s actually quite easy.  And it’s machine washable! 

As I’ve said, people often ask me how to keep their linen clothes from wrinkling.

For one, linen is always going to wrinkle.  Always. 

And really, that is part of “the look.”  You know, that rich bougie b!tch look that I love so much!

Two, a linen-blend will wrinkle less. 

And three, if you iron with starch, linen will wrinkle slightly less.  But, I say, just let it go!

Outfit Details

You can add a striped tee to the linen shorts and call it a look. 

But, of course, I had to be a little extra by adding a lightweight boyfriend blazer.

I opted for a neutral color.  Sadly, most of the blazers I could find only have limited stock available at this time.  

Accessories

I decided to really go trendy with the accessories.  I opted for some flat top designer sunnies.  

An ultra-trendy Bottega Veneta pouch clutch, also known as the “cloud” bag or “dumpling bag.”

The price tag will make you weep. 

But, there are some great alternatives out there for this popular style.

Of course, the braided square-toed slide is also on-trend this season.

And why not add a leopard knot headband?   Boom!  Trends on trends on trends!

Look 2 Outfit Details

Obviously, I had to create a sporty version of this look.  Add some Air Force 1s to be one of the cool kids.

You’ll want to wear these with no socks or no-show socks.

And add a baseball cap.  The Burberry check cap is a great choice if you’re a baller.  If not, I found some alternatives below. 

A boyfriend watch works well for this look.  And a designer crossbody bag completes the look!
