Plus Size Red Pants Outfit

A plus size red pants outfit that will keep your business casual work wardrobe from getting boring!  Bright red pants topped with a faux wrap black and white floral top is sure to turn heads, but in the best possible way!  The top is tunic length, which I love with a bold pant.

You may have packed away your bright pants for winter.  But, pull them back out!  And if you’re in the market for a pair, I recommend these from Talbot’s or these from Eloquii, which are also available in the “Viola” fit, designed for pear shapes.  (See more on pear shapes here).

Visually add length to the legs with nude pumps or flats.  And add your favorite black work tote.  A bold red lip will also look amazing.

So this look can take you into spring with a classic trench coat.  You could even go with a nude sandal, like this one in “tan nubuck,” in the warmer months.

In colder weather, opt for a camel coat like this one.  And a cropped or duster cardigan will also work if you need layers for warmth.  Basically, you want your cardigan to hit at or above the tie of the wrap top or longer than the tunic length of the top.  Always consider your proportions.

  1. Hi. Been following you on Pinterest for sometime now. I love what you put together. It would be more helpful to me if you’d actually put on a plus size person. Anything looks good laying or hanging there. Please add a real person to the ensemble. Thank you. Look forward to your 2020 posts

    1. Hi Layla,
Thanks for the feedback, but that’s not really a viable option for me at this time. I can recommend lots of other blogs in which the blogger models the clothing. I’m sure you have seen many of them if you follow me on Pinterest. Just let me know if you want specific recommendations.
