This Part 2 of a Series

I came up with too many outfit ideas for just one post so I turned this capsule into a series of posts! 

Also, I have a bunch of additional optional pieces to suggest that would also work with this capsule that will be coming in future posts.

Also, I want to mention that if you shopped last year’s plus size fall work capsule, many of those pieces will fit nicely with this one.

As I mentioned, I’m going through some health issues.  Overall I am better, but unfortunately, I’ve had some setbacks. 

And I am still trying to catch up with everything.  The struggle is real!

So even though I actually started working on this capsule well over a month ago, I am just now getting to post Part 2.

To be clear, I have worked on this collection for many many days!

Low Stock & Sold Out Items

Unfortunately, that means that some of the items now have lower stock available, select sizes unavailable, and one piece was completely sold out!

This also contributed to the delay because I had to search for more alternative options for you.  That took me a very long time!

But, the good news is that as I post additional parts of the series, I will be adding more choices.  So please be patient.

I apologize if you aren’t able to get some original items in your size.  But, I did my best to offer you the best similar alternatives that I could find.

Plus Size Fall Work Capsule Wardrobe 2021

Much like Part 1, this post will start with plus size outfits featuring the green pants.

Plus Size Juniper Green Pants

As I mentioned above, due to delays, the original plus size green pants I chose are now only available in limited sizes. 

Fortunately, these green pants, which are also available in petite plus, are extremely similar.

Plus Size Green Pants & Floral Scarf Outfits

I really love this floral scarf because it works with a variety of colors in this capsule.

Plus Size Green Pants & Eggplant Cardigan Outfits

The green pants work quite well with this plus size eggplant purple cardigan. 

I love this color combination.  They have a complementary relationship.

Plus Size Green Pants & Sweater Blazer Outfits

As you can see, some alternative looks can be created with the plus size walnut brown sweater blazer. 

You’ll see these pieces much more in future posts.

Plus Size Green Pants & Black Silk Sweater Outfits

Plus Size Short Sleeve Silk Sweater

A short sleeve fine gauge sweater in a neutral color is a great choice for workwear.  It’s great on its own for warm weather or under a blazer or cardigan in cooler temps.

You might remember the same sweater in a rust color from last year’s plus size fall work capsule. 

I also featured the same silk sweater in “natural” in this plus size work outfit post.  It’s a classic!

Top the black sweater with a bold gold statement necklace.  I like the leopard mules with this look to add some more interest. 

As for the accessories, I went with the black stud earrings, black sunglasses, and black bag.

Make sure you’re checking out my “less $ similar” links below for less expensive options.

Same concept here as above.  But this time I topped the black sweater with a color-blocked silk bandana scarf. 

Go here for a video on how to tie this type of bandana scarf.  You can also wear this type of scarf on your head or even your handbag’s handle.

The two outfits above feature a green snake print scarf.  The only few differences between the two looks are the bags, earrings, and sunglasses. 

Again, just wanted to demonstrate the options.  Especially since you will hopefully already have similar items in your closet.

But, you might notice that both of these outfits have green loafers rather than the leopard mules like the other black silk sweater outfits above. 

It’s always personal preference, but I personally don’t like to include multiple animal prints in the same outfit. 

There are some rare exceptions, but generally, that’s my stance.  

But, you do you!

Plus Size Plum Pants

Since we’re talking about the plus size black silk sweater, I might as well segue to the next segment: outfits with the plus size plum pants, which are also available in petite plus.

Plus Size Plum Pants & Black Silk Sweater Outfits

Once again, I show a “base” outfit with a variety of statement accessories. 

In this case, the base outfit is plus size plum pants, a black silk sweater, and leopard mules.

Add a black satchel and a wrist stack of a watch, a link bracelet, and a tortoise bracelet.

It seems like a good time to include some more supplemental jewelry that will work nicely with these outfits.
